If your store does not teach a high altitude diving class or if you have a trip planned to Lake Tahoe or Reno and would like to take one here, we offer PADI High Altitude and PADI Nitrox Scuba Certification Dive Classes taught taught by the same diver(s) that made the world record Lake Tahoe high altitude dives to the SS Tahoe, that have given presentations before the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, written articles and books and that developed the Lake Tahoe altitude dive software and tables.  We can also do PADI Altitude Adventure dives for those that are interested which will also count towards your PADI advanced certification.  High Altitude Scuba Dive class and instruction are given on all dive tables you may use (PADI, NAUI, SSI, NASDS, DCIEM, U.S. Navy, etc.) as well as any particular scuba dive computer you are using even though this is a PADI certification class.  With an emphasis on fun and knowledge, a true understanding of the nuances of high altitude diving, nitrox and deep diving is taught giving you an unsurpassed level of knowledge ... and did we mention fun?  Upon completion of your High Altitude dive class, you will receive a special PADI recognized high altitude dive certification.  This is not PADI's standard altitude diving certification class, but a special altitude class authorized by PADI where you will receive a special PADI "High Altitude" certification and not the standard PADI "Altitude" certification.  All class sessions are in Reno, Nevada with dives at Lake Tahoe unless otherwise noted.  We have a full line of classes including the following.
